Ever since moving to the bush (the lowveld of South Africa), which is now 3 years ago (!!!), I’ve been wanting to share all my exciting finds with anyone and everyone.
Writing a blog seems the best way to go about doing so.
There is just SO much happening around our little piece of the bush, all the time. There is always the buzz of everything being alive, and doing whatever needs to be done. And it’s all so incredibly amazing.
I love the little things … And I get so excited about all the little things I find, I want to share them with everyone!
The birds, the insects, the trees, the flowers, the animals, the sunsets – all of it.
I love taking photos. It doesn’t matter if it’s with my camera or my phone, if it’s little and interesting, I want to capture it in a picture (actually even if it’s big and interesting)! Macro-photography opens up a whole new world of little creatures, just waiting to be photographed and shared, with all their intricate beauty which cannot be seen unless you get up close and personal.
I would love for you to join me in my new discoveries and adventures in the bush. So here goes, and I hope you enjoy my pictures and stories.
My blog is not pretending to be anything other than what it is – my stories about what I see and how I see.
I most definitely do not know everything about what I see (sometimes I know nothing), but as I go along I’m learning new things all the time, and maybe you’ll learn something new too.
